I am much more than your favorite wedding photographer. I am also your timeline coordinator. I want you to have less stress over what needs to happen throughout the day and ensure we have the ideal amount of time for all the gorgeous photos you want on your important day. In over 15 years of photographing weddings, I have seen a lot and have a wealth of knowledge to help guide you through the day.
When the day is done and your photos are carefully selected and artistically edited, I will do a live album reveal and consultation. During the video call, we will preview a preliminary album design with the images you selected and make any adjustments LIVE so you know exactly what your album will look like when it arrives.
THE WEDDING PROCESS

II. Lock in your date!
After our call, you will receive a custom quote based on our chat. Complete your online booking with a signed contract and paid retainer to be part of the Stephanie Coulter Photography experience.
III. Engagement & Wedding
I am with you throughout the wedding journey helping to plan your wedding day timeline, getting you some beautiful engagement photos, capturing memories of your wedding day, and sharing all your favorite moments. Sneak peeks from each session will be sent within 48 hours because who wants to wait?!
IV. Selection & Editing
I will sort through the thousands of images from your day and weed out the blurry, open-mouth, closed-eye, and duplicate images and apply basic edits for you to choose your favorites from the day. Once you've selected the images you want, I'll put on the finishing touches within 8 weeks of your selections and start designing your album.
V. Happily Ever After
It's time to celebrate again! The day is done and it's time to relax and relive your day through a live custom album design session. When everything is done, I'll still be around if you have more questions, want me to photograph another important event, and more!

FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll help you organize your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights, etc. It's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, and invites to help bring your vision to life! On your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings, mood, emotions, calm and crazy moments, and all the details that make your wedding unique. I believe in photographing as unobtrusively as possible so you get the real moments without having a camera in the way.
What will our edited photos look like?
I believe in photos that are as true-to-life as possible. For this reason, I edit in a light & realistic style. This means my images have a bright & happy feel with good contrast. What you see on my site is what you can expect.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in the Kansas City & northwest Missouri area and, yes, I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story outside of my normal area, it may require a travel fee, but we will work together to make it work for everyone!
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your lightly edited photos within 4 weeks for you to select your favorite photos from the day (these are not to be shared yet). Once I've received your selections for full editing, I will have your fully edited & shareable images delivered to the same gallery within another 4-6 weeks. You can download all the fully edited photos from the gallery, share them with family and friends, choose your favorites, and also order prints! Any and all print orders, including albums, may take longer, but I will make sure you get them!
If you feel stuck on what images will look amazing on your walls, let me know and I'll help design a custom wall display with your favorite photos.
How many pictures will we receive?
Because I want to make sure you get ALL the BEST and MOST IMPORTANT photos from your day, the final number depends on how many images you choose for final editing. You can rest assured I will weed out any weird eye blinks, duplicates, or images that do not meet my high criterion for quality.
Will there be a 2nd photographer?
That is completely up to you, but it is highly recommended as it helps provide dual-viewpoints and allows for even more moments to be captured. We'll discuss the best options for you to make sure you have your dream day captured to perfection without breaking the bank!
What if we only need a few hours for a small ceremony?
I got you covered! Ever since 2020, there's been a trend towards micro-weddings and elopements. I do offer a package that could meet those needs, so let's talk to see what you really need.
Do you offer albums?
Yes! After having to create my own wedding album (which took about 13 years for me to sit down and actually do it since I also had to edit all my own photos), I want to make sure every couple gets an album of their day. Unlike myself where I had to edit my own photos and design my own wedding album, I will create an initial album design with the fully edited photos you must have (and extras if there's room). Once I have a base album design, we will hop on a video call together so we can make live changes to the design so your album looks perfect.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! Weddings cost a lot of money that most people don't have lying around. To make it easier, I offer payment plans to suit your needs to get everything paid for before the big day. The last thing you need to worry about on your wedding day is one more vendor to finish paying.
