The Little Things


I was so excited to be teaching in a classroom again this past fall knowing I didn't have to rush home to pick up a kid from my in-laws (my childcare). I decided to work on myself by utilizing the fitness center at the school after lunch on teaching days.


Dalena was the friendly face behind the desk rooting me on to get fit and also listen to some of the drama I was attempting to manage. We hit it off and once she learned I was a photographer, we got her family scheduled quickly for some photos before the cold weather set in.

Couldn't Have Been Better


We couldn't have asked for better weather! It was slightly overcast with amazing clouds allowing the sun to peek through slightly and creating a beautiful soft light. Temps were pleasant and the wind was calm.


It was so fun working with Dalena, Anthony, William, and Vitori! They were easygoing and so photogenic! I can't wait to capture some more amazing photos of them again this fall!

Fate's Journey


As I go through life, I'm always amazed at what the journey has in store. Not knowing who I'm going to meet and where. Not knowing how it will impact my life and all the while soaking it all in. If I hadn't been teaching in a classroom (vs virtual) and decided to work on self-care during the fall of 2021, I wouldn't have met Dalena or her amazing family. I'm forever grateful to have made a new friend and honored to capture some great photos of her beautiful family!
