Who would've guessed that over 20 years after meeting Jennifer (mom) at my alma mater in marching band I'd be taking some fun photos of her beautiful family?!
Jennifer is a mom to three beauties like myself with each of her girls about 2 years older than mine. Her girls are as silly and each other's best friend as my own. Such fun to be around!

The more I photograph families and raise my own, the more I realize there's usually at least one kid who wants no part of taking photos and does almost everything they can think of to either hide from the camera or refuse to smile. The youngest in this family, Emily, tried it all! Little did she know I had tricks up my sleeve to bring out her smiles and laughs! There's no grumping when you get to tickle dad!

Fun on the Farm
Living in a small town north of Kansas City, MO, I got the privilege to photograph this family on their grandparents' farm. The space around us was beautiful and full of possibilities from the old barn to the open field to the property gate!
What's a farm without a cat?
This family's farm was not a disappointment as they had their own cats roaming the property. I only got to see one of them and got the impression that they look a lot alike. The cats were just as much family as anything.
